_About L.S. Beck

The real me is someone that blends into a crowd, and that is how I have always tried to be. Even though I am loud, boisterous and opinionated, I am just one of those people that, after speaking with me and walking away, I am forgotten. But lately, all that has changed. A friend had faith in me, more than I ever had in myself, and thanks to that, I can no longer hide in the corner, hoping to go un-noticed.
Every day for me was the same. I awoke, dealt with the son to get him off to school, and go to work, smile and laugh, deal with the melancholy days then come home, cook, clean and sigh with relief as my day wound down. Now I am up with the day yet to break, work out, answer emails, still deal with the boy that is my heart, and let my mind concentrate on the future that I never had hopes of achieving. Work is still as it always was, but the smiles and laughter are more genuine, because I have changed. Everything has changed. My writing has taken new meaning and with continuous encouragement from others, I strive to be the best damn author I can be.
I am proud to be a new author in this realm of both fresh faces and experienced writers, I have been given the chance of a lifetime and I am holding on tight for the roller coaster ride... wherever it may take me.
